Makeup Product Explainer Masterclass
Using multiple cameras and Zoom to create an intimate but beautiful interaction
This was a 3-camera masterclass from a penthouse hotel room in Central London. We created a live chat between professional makeup artists in the room and influencers dotted around the world via zoom.
The customer Duck Productions provided an immacuate venue and set dressing and created a schedule over 90 minutes to explore their new products and have makeup artists explain their application techniques along with the finished look on models.
- Initial job booking with a phonecall, including venue address, parking availability and load in access.
- Customer uploaded their spreadsheet with the schedule and timings to their portal
- We did a 30-minute test call on Zoom to confirm the layouts of the assets they had uploaded 1 week before the show
- Event Capture UK arrives on site in the morning to setup (3 hour window) and run test calls with the customer’s team to check zoom, camera angles, audio and graphics (2 hour window)
- We then waited calmly out the way while the makeup artist and models arrived, everyone was briefed by the customer and we went into the zoom call on time
- We pack down and leave once the call and the final Q&A session concluded (2 hours)
